| On 10th May, 2022 GPE co- hosted a reception with Rotary International to dialogue on opportunities for business action and impact. Elimu Yetu Coalition was one of the invitees. Other CSOs represented were Action Aid and FAWE. The event was graced by Principal Secretary for the State department for Early Learning and Basic Education Dr. Julius Juan. Also in Attendance was the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee for Education Hon Florence Mutua. The conversation was around the provision of quality education to every child. Participants also addressed challenges experienced in accessing basic education by marginalized communities. The plight of the Girl Child was especially underscored. Participants agreed on the need to pull resources together and partner in order to meet Education Goals. |
