On 5th and 6th February 2026, an inaugural Elimu Yetu Coalition Board Meeting was held; marking the first convening of the new EYC Board of Trustees. The meeting also facilitated a formal handover of office from the outgoing Board, ensuring a smooth leadership transition and continuity in governance.
The session was successfully conducted, with the outgoing Board officially transferring oversight responsibilities to the new Trustees. This transition reinforced stability and continuity within the organization’s governance structures.
The newly appointed Board of Trustees expressed its commitment to strengthening coalition accountability, providing strategic governance support, and steering the organization toward the effective realization of its mission and objectives.
